The West Coast Main Line was built by many smaller companies during the birth of the railway era, but plans for the Trent Valley Line had materialised by 1847, providing a more direct route by bypassing Birmingham. Explore TSW’s longest UK route to date as you traverse a total of 108 miles between Milton Keynes and Crewe, while aboard the modern the Avanti West Coast BR Class 807 ‘Evero’. Avanti West Coast’s ‘Evero’ is the latest innovation of the AT300 fleet, featuring a familiar shell, but with a much more ergonomic interior, refined cab, optimised kitchen space, and comfortable first class section, with the rest of the train prioritising a much-welcomed capacity upgrade on the WCML. Supporting alongside is the Class 350/4; call at all local stations in both Warwickshire and Staffordshire before joining additional traffic at Stafford. Then open the throttle and race to historic Crewe.
