The Class 802 is part of the AT300 family which - since 2017 - has been established as the mainstay traction for long-distance services across the UK mainland. Great British Railways is a new, publicly owned, company, bringing track and train together to enable more passenger-focused planning and decision making. The launch of the GBR brand occurred on 9th December 2025 at an event at London Bridge, where the brand was first unveiled on a Class 802 playable in a TSW demo. Now in Train Sim World, the GBR Class 802 is ready for all to enjoy! Climb aboard a modern unit and make good use of diesel and electric operations across the ECML & Riviera Line. Run at break-neck pace, or take a scenic stroll, while displaying the distinctive iconography of the Union Jack.
